Steps to Production
1)Compose multitrack/multichannel MIDI file of original music.
2)Export MIDI File from keyboard workstation
3)Load in REASON and raise the quality of instrumentation using things like the
PLAY engines.
4)Take instrumental tracks and load them into the V-Studio (personal choice V840GX).
5)Record vocals against the instrumental tracks.
6)Load into SoundForge for mastering.
That is by no means a FAST take on production. Song writing and recording are very time consuming. The difference begins to take shape with the principle of "creativity on demand". There is a disparity between recording an "album" as an artist, or recording music to be used for soundtrack materal on film, television or advertising.
The disparity is defined simply as - THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING.

2010 and Reinvention
Hi! Welcome to my music blog. The theme of this blog changes officially this year from the "band" blog to my own music blog. There have been a lot of changes in the last couple of years - leading to the reinvention of my entire approach to music.
Through the use of my KORG Triton and "REASON" I have discovered that nearly all the music projects that I work on now are dependent on myself. Phil is still providing percussion support - and I have been talking to other musicians who will work with me from time to time.
The main websites are morphing also. If you look at http://www.garytittle.com you will be able to see it over the days to come.
Thanks for looking in. Please check back often.
